Song of the Week
Song: Heart of God by Hillsong Young & Free ft. Chris Tomlin
As the Word of God is a living text, people have different ways of interpreting these texts. So, feel free to share your thoughts and opinions down in the comments below! Remember to like and share on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!
God is precise.
God knows exactly what to do and when to do it.
“When the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD had come up from the midst of the Jordan, and the soles of their feet were raised up to the dry land, the waters of the Jordan returned to their place, and flowed over all its banks as before.”– Joshua 4:18 AMP
When the priests stepped out of the Jordan and the soles of their feet raised to dry land, the water flowed back.
It didn’t say it took an hour, a day, or a week for the water to rise back to the normal level.
Likewise, when it’s time to move, God moves. God makes sure that everything is in place before He sets them in motion.
He is not a God of scurrying or the last minute. He is a God of great plans.
God is in between the bone and the marrow.Tweet
Trusting in God’s Timing
You need to trust God’s timing. It is very often not align with yours.
That’s a hard pill to swallow. I’m still struggling with that every day.
But that’s the truth of the matter. God moves when He wants to. God moves when He has to.
How to Rush God?
To put it simply, you can’t. He’s not come giant genie in the sky that grants your every command; He’s God!
Let me ask you another question instead: Why do you feel that you should rush God?
There is beauty in every season: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. So, why not find some beauty in yours?
There will be things we miss out every day, things we forget or fail to appreciate. There will always be things we take for granted, accidentally or purposely.
In the midst of emotional crises, the healthy way to recover is to appreciate the beauty in everything.
Have you noticed you seek God more than usual when you’re in utter desperation?
Live like that!
Live as if you’re always in need of God. God is finer than oxygen. Some days, He feels scarier than water.
In those days, where will you turn to?
So, what’s the rush? Why rush God?
Trust in His timing for your life. After all, He is the only one who has the authority to take you back.
Have you ever wondered that the reason you’re in this season is so that you can fully appreciate the wonders of the world God has made?
To put it simply, you need to say thank you more.
Thank God for being precise.
Only then will you be able to thank yourself for fighting so hard for the things you care about.
