A Better You: It Takes All of You to Succeed – Joshua 3:1

Song of the Week

As the Word of God is a living text, people have different ways of interpreting these texts. So, feel free to share your thoughts and opinions down in the comments below! Remember to like and share on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!

“Joshua got up early in the morning; then he and all the children of Israel set out from Shittim and came to the Jordan, and they spent the night there before they crossed [the river].”

Joshua‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

In Joshua 3:1, it says that Joshua and all the Israelites set out together.

There was a collective effort Israel took to step into their purposeful future.

Similarly, you need to step up wholly into God’s purpose for you.

You need to understand you cannot receive a part of God’s will; it either entirely belongs to you, or it doesn’t.

What Does It Mean to Be Completely Immersed?

When creatives are completely immersed in their arts, we say that they are in they’re in their state of flow.

When you’re fully immersed in God, you should be feeling in tune with what God has for you.

I’m not saying you can be 100% aligned to God because that would be impossible; we are too mortal to understand what goes on in the supernatural realm. Instead, it’s to be sensitive to your spirit and your soul.

To be in a flow state with God, you need to dedicate your entire soul to Him, everything that you do and say and think.

You have to align your intentions with God’s. Only then can you be fully immersed in God.

Prophetic Word

Some of you want to dedicate more of your life to God, whether it’s your career, finances, marriage, or children.

That’s great!

Taking a step forward will allow you to understand yourself even more and, in turn, become a better version of you.

Call to Action

But there are things stopping you from doing that. Take a good look at yourself in the mirror.

Is there something wrong? I mean, is there something off? Do you feel like something is out of place?

Go to a quiet place and posture your heart towards God. Seek God’s guidance in silence.

It is only by quiet meditation with God will you realize what’s unfinished business in the recesses of your heart.

5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”

– Deuteronomy 6:5 NIV

God bless you and stay safe everyone!
